The Southern Illinois Stone Company has been awarded a Gold Rock Solid Excellence in Safety Award by the Illinois Association of Aggregate Producers (IAAP). The Rock Solid Safety Awards program recognizes safety and health excellence among IAAP members who work in the Illinois aggregates industry. The site is judged on thirteen different criteria including approved training program, personal exposure sampling, pre-shift inspection, Hazard Communication Program, and safety and health system reviews.
The SIS Quarry team’s commitment to creating and maintaining a safe worksite has been recognized throughout the entire state. Delta is very proud of your efforts.
