Southern Illinois Stone Quarry has been awarded a Community Relations Award for 2015 by the Illinois Association of Aggregate Producers (IAAP). The Community Relations Awards program recognizes companies whose community involvement and support activities have enhanced the public’s perception of the aggregates industry in general and the individual producer’s aggregate operation in particular. The facility is judged on the following criteria: Mine Site Appearance, Community Education, and Community Outreach.
